Currency and credit cards

The currency unit in Poland is the Polish Złoty (PLN, or shortly: zł) which is subdivided into 100 grosz (gr).
The approximate exchange rate is 1 EUR = 4.15 PLN (January 15, 2014).

Foreign exchange takes place at banks or bureaux de change, named “kantor” located at railway stations, airports and in the neighborhood of the conference venue. International credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants, shops and all cash machines.

Electricity supply is 230 V.
