Bus number 175. The conference venue is near a stop named “Uniwersytet”.

To the hotels

  • Gromada Hotel: from the airport or from the Central Railway Station (“Warszawa Centralna”), take bus No.: 175 and get off at the “Uniwersytet” stop (the hotel is within walking distance of 440m away).
  • Harenda Hotel: from the airport or from the Central Railway Station (“Warszawa Centralna”), take bus No.: 175 and get off at the “Uniwersytet” stop (the hotel is 200 m away).
  • Ibis Hotel: from the airport or from the Central Railway Station (“Warszawa Centralna”), take bus No.: 175 and get off at the “Uniwersytet” bus stop and then take a bus No.:517 to “Muranowska” bus stop.
  • Victoria Hotel: from the airport or from the Central Railway Station (“Warszawa Centralna”), take bus No.: 175 and get off at the “Plac Małachowskiego” bus stop, which is 100m from the hotel.

Public transport

Buses and trams are the basic means of public transport; they run according to the timetable displayed at the stops, approximately from 5:00 a.m. to 10:45 p.m.: from 10:45p.m. to 4:45 a.m. night busses are in service. Almost all night lines have their main stops at Emilii Plater street (close to Central Railway Station) to facilitate changing lines for the passengers.

In Warsaw there is also underground (“metro”). It has one line which runs through the districts of Ursynów (the first station is at Kabaty quarter), Mokotów, Śródmieście, Żoliborz and Bielany (the last station is Młociny). The trains run daily between 5:00 a.m. and 0:00, and during the weekends till 3:00 a.m.

The tickets can be bought at kiosks (newsagent’s shops), ticket machines or from the driver (not recommended).

For ISIC cards owners (under 26 years old) – 50% discount. Any other transport discounts for students are not available.

TAXI

To take a taxi is a good solution as well. The best way is to choose a car that is associated with a corporation. The fare is calculated according to the special taxi transport tariff. The prices range are from 1.80 PLN to 3.00 PLN per one kilometer. The best way to order a taxi is by telephone.
